Beyonce and Jay Z are getting through some rough patches in their relationship. In an unauthorized biography written by an author of Beyonce’s life claimed that Jay Z and Beyonce got separated for a year when Bey found Jay Z cheating her on Rihanna. Beyonce, 34, and Jay Z, 45, have been through their fair share of break up and separation rumors, but this one is scandalous!
In an authorized biography about the 34-year-old’s life, the author, J Randy Taraborrelli, 59, wrote that the powerful music couple reportedly went their separate ways for about a year when it was rumored that Rihanna, 27, and Jay Z were hooking up.

Their breakup was in the news since Rihanna released “Pon De Replay” in 2005. A year back Jay has received a demo of that track since then cheating rumors started and are getting severe day by day. “Beyonce didn’t know what to make of this, and it actually ended up breaking them up for a time,” were the words of J Randy.
He further added that “They spent maybe a year apart from each other because Beyonce just wasn’t sure what to make of the situation with Rihanna.” Beyonce shattered the rumored betrayal and decided to marry Jay Z in 2008 later they have a child.
The 59-year-old writer said that the two Pop stars are on good terms. “It’s safe to say that Rihanna and Beyonce are friends,” J Randy said.
Apparently the rumors of Jay Z and Rihanna’s affair were reportedly made and spread to the media by publicists to boot the 27-year-old singer’s profile. Even though this whole incident happened years ago, the author believes that Rihanna’s presence is the source of some of the couple’s fights. That includes the brawl between Jay and Beyoncé’s younger sister, Solange, 29, at the Met Gala in 2014.
J Randy claimed that he met certain close associations of the two and deduced that the scuffle happened because Jay Z wanted to attend Rihanna’s Met Gala but Beyonce wasn’t interested at all. The award winning author claims that he isn’t so sure what was the actual reason behind the quarrel.
He stated that “I think it’s safe to say the only people who know for sure what happened are Bey, Jay, Solange, and the bodyguard who were in the elevator.” J Randy further added that sometimes crazy things happen when there’s a billion dollars in a single elevator.
