Most of the viewers were simply astonished to see their favorite actress without any semblance of clothes. One of her fans wrote on his social media account:
“@oliviawilde @vinylHBO Had to watch it twice last night – thank you.”
Olivia Wilde was sporting a pubic wig during the uncensored naked scene. This is known as merkin. It allowed the viewers to assume that she had untrimmed pubic hair.
The 32 year old celebrity joked about merkin as she talked about the Vinyl episode as well as her uncensored scene in the show.
She wrote on her account.
“Big thanks to my co-star, Molly Merkin, for working so closely with me on @vinylHBO last night. Couldn’t have done it without you, girl.”
This came after Olivia Wilde finally talked about being fitted with the bush when she had appeared in ‘The Howard Stern Show’. She also shared with her fans that the actress was allowed to choose the color and the consistency of the piece. But it was fitted by experts.
She also joked that it was massive and huge, and it was next to impossible to grow so much pubic hair any more. Olivia shared her thoughts that when she was wearing it, she felt a little less naked. It felt like a fur bikini which is comparatively nicer because it doesn’t reveal much to the onlooker.
Vinyl is a creation of Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese. The series seeks to show the sordid lives of people who were part of the music industry during the 70s.
The show began in February on HBO and has garnered positive response from the public owing to its ensemble cast. A second season of the show has already been approved.
