Another famous celebrity said his good-bye to the showbiz show for better future. We are talking about none other than Rosie Perez who gave a crying goodbye on “The View” this Wednesday. There was a sentimental video released on the social media that make the die-hard fans of “The View”.
She appeared on stage in thriving clapping that rapidly triggered an exclusive drama scene of her crying as her co-hosts give her support mainly Whoopi Goldberg and Nicolle Wallace as well as newcomers Raven-Symone and Michelle Collins lines who formally linked the show as host on Wednesday reports The Wrap assembled around her for a group hug.
It was just only a year but seems a lot after joining the “The View” and now Rosie Perez has decided to step down as one of the program’s co-hosts to pay more attention on her acting future. She said to the Media:
“Today is the most troubling day for me but I am also excited for what is to come but truly I’m so sad and confuse to leave ‘The View’ and the endearing staff, the producers, ABC, and mainly these two ladies.”
If you look at the Wednesday incident, Perez spoke the news after sadly entering the studio for the last time as background hits with “Lovers Never Say Goodbye” played.
She specially mention to thank Bill Wolff of the show’s executive producer, who she formerly told the New York Daily News’ Viva was one of the foremost details she even deliberated to join the ABC daytime show.
The audience provides Perez a standing ovation and co-host Raven Symone competed to the wings of the set to grip a box of tissues, moderator Whoopi Goldberg told Perez.
Though Perez’s run on the show with a dwindling rumor of her departure practically from the start but she found her major support was from the public she’s so pompously a part of.
She thinks that the decision was final and that it’s time to move on and it is correct that today is very sad and depressed day for me. She thanks producers and staffers to be part of such an iconic show that has opened me up to a wider audience.
The scene is set as Perez takes her final ending in August and the guest co-host Michelle Collins is likely to join the show as an official co-host.
I never actually watched the view but I am happy she will be focusing on her acting career. She has many good movies and I hope she makes many more
