Carrie Underwood could extend her record winning band at the CMT Music Awards. It also could be referred to as the comeback party for Carrie Underwood. The female star made her first post baby look, and won three fan-voted trophies.
The gorgeous star has won video of the year for the last three years, and she is nominated twice for the top prize Wednesday night when the awards show airs live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
When she accept the award her speech, the singer said: “This is such a marvelous blessing. I also have the best supporter in the world. I really do.”This night was full of entertainment. There was plenty of funny moment throughout the evening, with show co-host.
Underwood’s “Something in the Water” and her duet with Miranda Lambert, “Something Bad,” will compete against clips from Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan, with others. Underwood also won the prize in 2010 and 2007, and her five wins for the award make her the record holder. She is the overall top nominee with five nominations.
Underwood’s, a new mom, will also strike the stage, where Bryan, Jason Aldean, Reba McEntire and Zac Brown Band will also perform. DJ-producer Zedd will perform an EDM-country mash-up with Lady Antebellum.
Other nominee for the admirer-voted video of the year includes Dierks Bentley’-‘s “Drunk on a Plane,” Florida Georgia Line’s “Dirt,” Aldean’s “Burnin’It Down” and Bryan’s “Play It once more.” Twelve videos were initially nominated for the top prize, but were later shaped to six.
Maybe the musical moment of the night belonged to Eric Church, who gave a smoky show of his “Like A Wrecking Ball,” which got a response from the female spectators members like to what Conway Twitty would have gotten with a song like “I’d Love To Lay You Down” some three decades former showing some subject theme is timeless.
