The power couple David Beckham and Victoria Beckham is reorganizing their businesses in such a way that it would render the day to day running of the companies more easy and efficient
Former football mega star, David Beckham voluntarily stepped down from the directorship of Victoria Beckham Limited. This comes after six years he spent at the helm of the company with his wife Victoria Beckham and its chief executive officer, Roberts Dodds.
A tabloid magazine reported that David Beckham stepped down on December 10, 2014. The entire paid up capital of the company was transferred to its parent company and its share was equally distributed among three.
The name of the parent company to which these shares were transferred is Beckham Brand Holdings Limited. The documents of the company were filed in the United Kingdom. These documents made it clear that the contracts pertain to David’s brand were subsequently transferred to a sister company DB Ventures Limited.
This company’s ultimate goal is to making use of the Beckham brand without involving Victoria as its fashion designer. It should be noted here that both David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have stakes in Beckham brand holdings. DB Ventures is a subsidiary of Beckham Brand Holdings.The couple has also sent some very costly properties worth millions of Pounds.
This kind of activity gave way to rumors that the couple may be planning to split and the assets were being ascertained and liquidated before they file for divorce. This was, however denied by Beckham’s representative. All these rumors of a split between the two stars were timely dealt with by David as he gushed over Victoria on Mother’s day.
David and Victoria began dating in 1997 after the latter came to watch a Manchester United match. They were both enjoying great successes in their professions. David proposed her in January 1998 and they were married in 1999 in Ireland. The couple has four children Brooklyn Joseph, Romeo James, Cruz David and Harper Seven.
David and Victoria Beckham are regularly sought by designers, fashion magazines, cosmetic companies and perfume manufacturers for endorsing their products. The couple is very stable and there are no signs that there is going to be a split between them.
