Refrain from renting a car
While some travelers choose to rent a car as soon as they arrive at their destination, you might want to reconsider that decision in the Caribbean. Getting a car there can quickly become a full-blown disaster, especially if you’re not used to driving on the left side of the road. Also, some areas have zero road signs and very bumpy roads. Aruba and St. Thomas are suitable for driving, Barbados can be difficult for non-locals, while Bermuda doesn’t even allow cars!
